The SAM Library has 80% of all issues of the magazines (link to the magazine index):- Popular Aviation Magazine dating from Sept. 1932 to Oct. 1940.It has all issues of Flying Aces magazines from Nov. 1933 to Dec. 1943. It has all Model Airplane News from July 1929 through 1976. It has all Air trails from Sept. 1935 to Dec. 1974. It has an 80% complete collection of Model Craftsman from Aug. 1933 to Apr. 1948. It has a complete collection of Model Builder magazines.

Both SAM Approved Designs Lists (link), Gas and Rubber, advise the publication and date the original construction article/plans appeared. It’s always a good idea to obtain a copy of the original article before you build your next project.

Article copies are available from the SAM Librarian, Gene Wallock. Prices are: One Copy - $3.00; Two copies - $5.00; Three or more copies - $2.00 each, all are postpaid. Non-SAM members are welcome to use this source for article copies.
